Dashboard

One screen for the shape of the market. Every name is a tile, sized by whatever you decide matters and coloured by how it has moved, grouped into its real economic sector. It is the fastest way to see whether a move is the whole market, one sector, or one name pretending to be a trend.

The three controls

The map is defined by three choices, each its own menu. Change any one and the whole picture changes meaning, so it is worth knowing what each does.

ControlOptionsWhat it changes
MapStocks, ETFs, CryptoWhich universe you are looking at. Stocks and ETFs group into sectors and asset classes; crypto is one block.
SizeMarket cap, volume, turnover, monoHow much room a name gets. Market cap shows the market as it is weighted; turnover shows where money actually moved today; mono gives every name equal space.
ColourChange 1h/4h/1D, performance 1W to 1YThe move being shown. A 1-day map and a 1-year map of the same market look nothing alike, and both are true.

Reading the colour

Colour scales are fixed per map rather than stretched to fit whatever is on screen, so a deep red means the same thing today as it did last week. The day change reaches full colour at about ±3%; longer windows use wider scales because a 3% year is not a 3% day.

Fixed scales are the point. A map that rescales to its own extremes makes a quiet day look dramatic, which is exactly the misreading a heatmap is supposed to prevent.

Sectors

Names are grouped by economic sector, and the same nineteen sectors are used by the Screener's sector filter — so a sector that looks heavy on the map can be opened in the Screener without the grouping shifting under you. Tap any tile to read the name, its move and its size.
